In February 2020, the week before our grand opening, mother nature slammed us with a huge ice storm that took out our power for 3 days.
We could have closed up shop! But instead we got the last generator from Aubuchon, called all our new friends who graciously brought down all their extra candles, threw some bags of ice on the kegs and had ourselves a blackout party!
What could have been a disaster wound up being a beautiful and memorable night none of us would ever forget. To commemorate this, we ceremoniously serve beers by candlelight the Friday before our anniversary! Please join us for some tasty beverages and cozy vibes!
